The moment we begin to deny darkness we begin to flee,
therefore to bring some beauty to the shadows,
even though sadness and gore,
is an answer eventually.

Here a more sinister account in histories of sorts,
with the occasional up for temporary relief,
and run we didn’t,
our recoil now less vivid,
exploring both the thickened night and daylight,
embracing ecstasy and equally fright,
one becomes more used to it,
one’s view can remain lucid.
